20th Anniversary Barcelona Tour 2025

Well, we did it!

Our 20th Anniversary Barcelona Tour 2025 was a massive achievement, not only musically but personally for every Team member too. 

We created amazing memories for life of great teamwork, musicianship and friendship through the ongoing dedicated skills training that we do each week, and this Tour was an incredible bringing together of all of this, resulting in our amazing standing ovation from 250 people in our Figuères Concert, being able to adapt to make the Calella Concert viable whilst some of us were ill, then rallying to give our best performance ever in one of the top five iconic buildings in the world the Sagrada Familia! Wow!

We sampled some of the sights of Girona, visited the remarkable Dali Museum in Figuères, the incredible architecture of Antonio Gaudi on the rooftop of La Pedrera / Casa Mila and of course the Sagrada itself; what a tribute to Gaudi that was, to have the rarest of opportunities to give our final Barcelona Concert Performance within a few metres of his tomb! 

It was fantastic to see a number of our Team parents supporting us at this performance and truly inspiring to see our Team members and parents so emotionally overwhelmed by the magnitude of our ensemble being able to perform so well in such an iconic and special place.

Last, and by no means least, we learnt together how to overcome unforeseen challenges that life throws at us and how to support each other, from a lost passport, a broken down coach to a bout of food poisoning, so well done Team BYHT, our amazing Alumni members and thank you to all our Team parents & sponsors for your ongoing & fundraising support. A big thank you of course to our wonderful staff Team, including David & Simon in our van equipment Team, Keith on the medical front and Sonia, David, Jordi & Ester in the OneStage Team, not to mention David & Oliver Beeby for their respective Organ playing / singing too.
